Please clarify on Rajyoga in 8th

Namste Guru's and Learned Members,

Can you please educate me on what is the meaning of this Dharma-Karmadhipati (9th lord Sat and 10th Lord Jup.) Yoga formed in 8th house ( a dustana ).

Also in the chart, 8th house has: Lagna Lord Merc, 5th Co-Lord Ketu, 9th lord Sat and 10th Lord Jup.

Is it a Raja Yoga in 8th house. Thanks in advance for helping me understand this better.

Dear Rao,

I thought i'd answer your post, but i will answer indirectly

and so beginners can understand.

Best yogas involve beneficial planets in auspicious houses.

If the lagna lord is involved it means the person themselves are

involved.Sometimes WE can benefit from(others)Such as a family

members Raja Yogas,the Gurus yogas etc.

Dustanas are generally not good PLACES.

So planets and the houses owned by them will suffer in some way.

Yet, if the planet is a powerful lord by house ownership(owns 9th ,10

etc) then his placement wherever it goes will benefit THAT house and

its significations.

A powerful 8th house will give give good results in understand

occult, rebirth, spirituality etc.

But,it is mixed, as lagna lord suffers in 8th house ,unless well

fortified with benefics etc.

Take an example, there are several points here,

take libra rising, best planets for that lagna are saturn- he is

yogakaraka owning 4/5th houses, also good planets are mercury and

Venus himself, They are all friends and together are very powerful to

give results were the are conjoined.

Now for Gemini best planets are Sat9th lord,Venus,5th lord.

so if someone has sat exalted in 5th with venus,...wow.

so there there are unlimited combinations but principle stays the

same.

If a planet owns a trine and dustana(as in Sat for Gemini lagna) the

trinal house(9th) lordship will have more influence.

in short, for your example,.while the 8th house itself is

strengthened,but there are bad points also.

1) lagna lord is inthe 8th gives a rough life, of obstaceles etc.

2)It is better if planets conjoined in a house are freinds, or at

least neutral to each other,

3)whenever the nodes are involved , be sure there is some karmas

involved.

4) Many planets in 8th house -generally-arent good for marriage.

5)If you have alot of planets in 8th house that means you have alot

of planet/house significations(karakas) being harmed.

6)All those planets are aspecting the second(which can be good if

they are benefical-ie person might get an inheritance) or spouse dies

and leaves them money....etc etc/

LIke in the case of VIpareeta Raja Yoga ,where in lords of dustana

combine in dustanas, but also here ,the native benefits through the

expense of others- like through death ,association,(remember planets

in 8th aspect the 2nd)

Another consideration- do you want lords of bad houses associating

with lords of good houses ,NO. They can become ruined by association,

unless the benefics Far out weigh negative influences.

Also,Saturn as yogakaraka can give rajayoga when placed in the 12th .

you take it from there,

In short, 8th house becomes strong,but other houses will suffer...

It is better if the(jupiter) guru doesnt go to a dustana,(bad place)-

but while he is there , if he has some freinds with him he can do

some good there..

Meanwhile the malefics are better suited for bad places.

FOR YOUR QUESTION ABOUT DHARMA KARMA -

ALWAYS CHECK THE NAVAMSA TO SEE IF ALL THE GOOD WORKS MANIFEST.ALSO

SEE IF THE ATMA(AK) IS INVOLVED OR NOT.
