Dear Jyotishis,

This is a message that we have posted earlier from time to time. It appears there is a need to reiterate some points. It has been brought to our notice recently that Manorama Occult is selling Xerox copies of our back issues for Rs. 200. Please note: subscriptions and sale of current and back issues is only conducted through SJC office in New Delhi and nowhere else for the time being. If anyone wishes to distribute the magazine in countries outside India, they will need to get in touch with me first. Also note, Shailesh does not deal with the sale and distribution of the magazine. We needed to do this as we realised a year ago that a few reputed names in India have been issuing subscriptions abroad and selling the journal without our knowledge. As SJC tided over a severe financial crunch, it did not deserve to be cheated. As a part of our policy taken a year and a half back "to bring the house in order" we have streamlined JD management considerably. Our only official distributor in India is the Central News Agency, New Delhi. We are working towards tiding over delivery glitches (New Yorkers faced the brunt of it), towards registering the journal under the Indian Newspapers and Magazines Act, towards having national distribution so that the journal will be eventually available in book stalls, bus stands and railway stations and towards select international distribution. By the end of this year, we hope to achieve most of it, despite the fact that I am travelling constantly and remote controlling operations from Puri.

Best regards,

Sarbani

Hi Sarbani,

If I recall correctly, Manorama is Shiv's baby, while the SJC CDs

are handled by Sailesh.

Looks like you've mixed and mismatched the two Chaddhas :)

Cheers,

Dear Ramapriya,

I have not mismatched the two Chadhas. Manorama Occult is to do with Shiv

Chadha and not Shailesh. The reason I mentioned Shailesh's name is because a

lot of people constantly enquire from Shailesh regarding JD too as he deals

with the books and the CDs. So people naturally assume he deals with JD as

well. People sometimes direct their subscriptions enquiry to him. Hence my

mail was intended to clarify that all matters pertaining to JD is only dealt

by the Delhi office of SJC. My shock was expressed towards Manorama Occult

who had earlier released the Varga Chakra book a week before its official

announcement during the Hyderabad Conference. Then other people, like

Purushothaman of Singapore for example had told me that earlier he had taken

JD subscription from Manorama etc.

Best regards,

Dear shri Chadhha ji,

During my last purchse of books I have enquired about the past issues of JD. While replying my mail regarding the despatch of one parcel of books youhave very clearly quoted the price of the old JD issues as Rs.200 per issue. Taking the reference of the same I have told Sarbaniji regarding this. This is not at all a serious matter. I agian tell you that yu have only mentioned the price of it as Rs.200/- per issue. Reallising that it is much on highe side I have not ordered it till today. I also remember during our telephonic talks you have told me the same thing. Sarbaniji has never said that I have pruchased the JD from you but during my discussions I told him that you have quoted the price of it as Rs.200/-.

Kindly clear the confusion. There is no question of alleging you niether from myside nor from Sarbaniji's side. Kindly note the fact and finish off the discussions.

I think the things are very clear from my side. And this will suffice the matter from my side.

Yours

Dear Shiv,

He told me this in very clear terms a few days ago. So maybe you should ask him as to why he told me so?
