#2 badhaka problem

Dear Jaan,

 

There are several things that should be considered in this person’s chart…..

 

Although Venus is the Baadhak to the Lagna, I believe it is in Marana Kaaraka

Sthaana. This roughly translates as “place of death,” implying the potency of

the planet is quite diminished (not completely).

 

Whilst we are still in the realm of the zodiac, there will be a Baadhak to each

house. To understand what caused the Baadhak, we have to examine the 12th from

the Baadhakesh. For this person, it would indicate the 5th House of Bhakti in

the Rashi. While I do not recall the exact indications, and these are revealed

in Pt. Rath’s VRA book, it can be interpreted that devotion to the deity was

disrupted.

 

A Ganesh Mantra will help counter the effects of the Baadhak as it is He who

helps us remove obstacles.

 

However, as per Vimshottari, the Antar Dasha is that of the AtmaKaraka Moon,

which Is Baadhak to the 2nd House of sustenance, amongst other things. I suspect

this is more so the area of concern for this elderly person now. If the Baadhak

is to be taken care of, I would be more sensitive to the role of the Moon (also

the Lagna Lord).

 

Jupiter will be in Trines to one of the Mantra Padas (A5) come August this year.

This is where the chanting of select mantras will offer more direction to the

person.

 

The AtmaKaraka is afflicted (curse of the Mother), AND in Rashi Sandhi. The

Antar, once again, as per Vimnshottati is that of the Moon. Lessons of life are

coming to this person regarding the self, the personality as well as physical

health (Ruler of the 1st), manifesting in the 10th House openly.

 

RAHU/MARS is also running as per MOOLA Dasha, showing tremendous tension to the

person….

 

When the AtmaKaraka itself is afflicted to such a level, an Ishta Mantra would

be a blessing. Consider getting / imparting this for the person…

I hope this helps, and the Gurus can add more. Getting a mantra from a Guru

would have more meaning.

In the following ladies chart the badhak is quite strong, badhakesh Venus is

placed in the 6th House with 6th lord Jupiter and 8th lord Rahu.

 

 

 

This suggests a few things, wrath of the deity, black magic and wrath of

divine/superior serpents.

 

 

 

What are the effective remedial options likely to be?

 

 

 

Anger of the deity would be quite strong due to the affliction of Jupiter by

both Rahu and Mars.

 

 

 

Since badhakesh is also the 4th lord can we infer that the angry deity is

the Grama Devata? If so which would this deity be? Venus in Sagittarius can

indicate Annapurna, or Venus with male planets could also indicate Ganesh.

Or must this be determined only by 4th house in the Vimsamsa? The birth time

is not accurate enough to determine Vimsamsa lagna accurately though.

 

 

 

The village she is from has one Ganesha temple which her father had been

very active with.

 

 

 

Would worship and offerings to Lord Ganesha be enough to take care of the

black magic and wrath of deity?

 

 

 

Wrath of serpents would need a separate remedy altogether.
