Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Dear Partha, Namaste. Interesting that you too should be talking about dreams. Since we share the same ascendant, I was wondering whether Sagittarius sign, as the natural 9th house, is also the sign of dreams and dreamers! Perhaps we can check it out from other fellow Sagittarians….Chandra Sekharji, Zoran, Sarajit…the list goes on! Abdul Kalaam, our President, I think , is also a Sagittarian and look how much store he sets by dreams! Partha, you know that I too am a heavy dreamer and shared quite a few of them in this forum ( Shailesh, I can make out your long suffering look! :--)) Since you seem to be specializing in dreams and past birth etc, can you tell me when a child of hardly 1-2 years old consistently demanded… neither chocolates nor toys or any such thing…. but a crown from her father, what inner influences was she externalizing? Well, that child was me and at that unconditioned pristine age I couldn't have really been aware of the significations /price /power of the crown. It was as though the crown was rightfully mine, and since it wasn't around any longer, I must get it back! At that age, kids generally learn by imitation, then why didn't it dawn on me that crowns are not for ordinary folks as the people around me were NOT wearing crowns? Or were they? Because, at that age and stage perhaps I could never distinguish between dreams and reality. Ofcourse, my father used to humour me by saying that he had already placed an order and " Dadasaheb " (the local gold shop owner) would deliver it as soon as possible. I stopped asking for the crown as soon as I had grown up enough to realize that it was a ridiculous demand and over the years the entire episode had evolved into a family joke!! But strangely enough, after nearly 41 years, I want to know now….why was I asking for a crown, Partha? And, believe it or not, when I was doing my PG, my mother used to dream repeatedly about a Resplendent Lady placing a crown on my head!!! I was running Chandra dasa then and as I had often shared with you, it was a period of fantastic growth and success. There was hardly ever a setback. It was also the period when I had started reciting Lalitha Sahasranaamam. Now, some months back, I had another dream in which I saw a lady (processional diety ?) riding on a white (silver?) elephant and when I looked closely at the Lady's face, I realized with a shock that the Lady was none other than me! I was seeing myself being paraded! Now, am I not being blasphemous? I was very much afraid and ashamed that it was so, hence never wrote to the list about it. What remedies should I follow to stop such involuntary visions and nullify the sin arising out of these disturbing dreams? Is there a latent desire within me for power & authority, despite my so called outward renunciation that fuels such dreams? Or are these dreams just a wishful thinking and a reflection of Rahu in the 9th house? Visti also has Rahu in the 9H, but then does he have such dreams? My fear is partially because I seem to be more of a dreaming " bhogi " than a " yogi " ! Remedies please. Guest guest
Dear Madam Well, the dreams that you have been watching as a kid, were probably a manifestation of some past lives. In the Dream article, Pt.Rath has written that kids till 12 years of age normally see dreams of past lives. May be you were a queen of Sambalpur, or sholapur , who knows? My father always remarked that getting a dream of riding a elephant means impending dhana cum raja yogas. Alas, i have never had the opportunity to dream like that. AK is in 12th, the Atma simply doesnot want any raja yoga, he wants only moksha. Most planets in apoklimas means, none of them are getting any support from ATMA, there is no question of getting a kingship in this life. I used to dream of a king, who fought, and drove in black taxis as a child., Exactly the same thing i saw in past life regression, so i am sure what was written in the article is correct. I shall tell you something, that some of our raja yoga dreams are nothing to do with " materialism " , they are clear indicators of spiritual ascension. Silver elephant may also indicate Airavatam, who symbolises the ascension over Indriyas. You might be on a path of conquering your indriyas, and becoming a jitendriya(not the Jumping jack Jitendra). best wishes partha varahamihira , " B Lakshmi Ramesh " <b_lakshmi_ramesh> wrote: > Om Gurave Namah > > Dear Partha, > > Namaste. Guest guest
Dear Laxmi, I rarely dream. In your case perhaps lord of the 12th aspecting both 12th and Lagna coupled with Sun in 9th gives rise to the dreams. In Partha's case to I see that Lord of 12th associates Lord of the 9th Sun in 12th and aspects the other Satyapeetha the 7th house. Also note Saturn and Moon aspecting/conjunct in both the horoscope. Perhaps some connection here? Regards, Chandrashekhar. B Lakshmi Ramesh wrote: > Om Gurave Namah > > Dear Partha, > > Namaste. Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Dear Partha, Why din't you include Jhansi ki Lakshmi among the list. Then, I would have been real glad :--))But, given the number of past lives you say you have been through, I think all of us would have been a king, a thief, a genius etc. But you know, interestingly, when I had randomly gone thru a couple of free past life readings routinely offered on the web, just for a lark, they had listed the past-me invariably as a male, a soldier, a nomad and a detective! Thanks for your feedback about the white elephant. Makes me feel less aprehensive... Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Dear Chandrasekharji, Namaste. Your explanation is very meaningful. Further, in both charts the AK is involved with the 9th lord. Perhaps that could be one reason for this extensive dreaming? Guest guest
Dear Laxmi, 12th house denotes sleep,9th the past, Moon the mind and Saturn is capable of creating " Bhrama " . When you add Sun the Sthira Atmakaraka and as you pointed out the Chara Atmakaraka is also involved in both the cases. This can give rise to dreams. Try to find out the position in Vimsamsha for similar houses and perhaps the riddle can be solved. Regards, Chandrashekhar.
