OM BRIHASPATAAYE NAMAH

Dear Frank,

This is a very interesting question you have raised.

My first thoughts were... " Where were all the english equivalents to the

sanskrit words to help?..... "

But sanskrit works through sound and the wise say " words mean what they do.

"

so with this in mind I heard your list, and this was what came up.

Satya-truthfulness-Sun

Ahimsa-harmlessness-Moon

Asetya-noncovetousness-Jupiter

Brahmacharya-celibacy-Ketu

Aparingraha-non acceptance of others property-aloluptvam-uncovetousness-No

thought of appropriating the properties of others should rise in the mind of

one whose disposal they happen to be placed-Saturn ( detachment)

I also read Chapter 16 of Bhagavad Gita on virtues.'

Hopefully the gurus can help with this more.

Kind regards

Rosemary
