Guest guest
Dear All, The question of how to use/count antardasas in cases of mahadasa starting from the 7th house has been discussed in several private mails with some members. Narasimha Ji. was kind to explain it in clear text, which I share with you. The original question and the answer are given below. Kind regards /Jay Weiss - " Narasimha P.V.R. I do have a firm answer. For antardasa, there is no taking the 7th from it. Dasa sign is the progression of lagna or 7th. So progressed lagna is dasa sign or 7th from it. We can take dasa sign or 7th as lagna and analyze the chart. OTOH, antardasa sign is NOT a progression of lagna. It is a progression of lagna LORD or 7th lord. It is never taken as lgana. When you analyze a dasa, you can take the dasa sign (or 7th) as lagna and analyze the chart. But, you can NOT take antardasa sign as lagna. It is the progression of lagna lord, i.e. intelligence/consciousness. As a result, the question of taking the 7th from antardasa sign for judgment does not arise. Hope it's clear! You can share this email with others. Best regards, Narasimha *-*-*-* ---- Original question ---- Namaste, It seems that very few people know how to work out the antardasa in effect in Narayana dasa, when the mahadasa starts from the 7th house. Some of us were discussing it privately and when we hit the wall, there was only one way left; you. Could you please explain (naturally by a mail to the list so all can benefit) how to treat those antar dasas. Lets say that Narayana dasa starts from the 7th which is Aries. now suppose we are at Cancer mahadasa so we take Capricorn as the dasa sign. But, do we take the opposite of the antar specified (in this case lets say by JH/L) or is it the sign listed itself ?
