Different calculation methods to Sahams ?

Dear all,

 

Lately I delved into Sahams and their formulas just to find that there are different calculation "versions" to some of them.

By comparing the Sahams list in Sanjay's COVA (pages 13/14) with (example) K.S. Charak's "Varshaphala" (pages 152-156) I found several differences in many of them, which raises the question of "which is which"...

 

To my understanding (K.S.C mentions them too) there are different views in some cases (like much else) but the question remains:

WHAT are the correct formulas for those Sahams.

 

Qualified input anyone ?
