Namaste All,

Thank you for taking time to talk about Akasha tattva...I think the

most interesting tattva of all.

Good insights hae been given for this most subtle element.

Ajit Krishnan make excellent points on " Everything that is created

must also end. i.e. All of creation is

continuously undergoing change. Another word for " change "

is " time " . there is no change in the world, " time " loses all

meaning! Time (or change) only occurs in creation " .

 

IF you read Yoga Vasisthi ( dialog with Sri Ram), time does not

exist. HOw can this be? It all depends on ones level of

Consciousness. When one is of Bhagavat Chetana, then this universe

of Pure Consciousness, time is not a component.

Sri Vasisthi calls osut to Sri Ram:

" Even as heat is to fire, as whiteness is to a conch-shell, as

firmness is to a mountain, liquidity to water, sweetness is to

sugarcane, butter is to milk, coolness to ice, brightness to

illumination, oil is to mustard seed, flow is to a river, sweetness

to honey, ornament is to gold, aroma is to a flower -

the universe is to consciousness…. The world exists because

consciousness is AND the world is the body of consciousness "
