Namaste,

Can anyone add insight to this yoga?

1. Surya ruling the 10th from Chandra or Lagna.

2. Navamsa equivelent

3. Benefits ? Assume Career is the recipent of this yoga?

4. Timing olf the yoga - does the Dasa of the 10th trigger this?

Any insight is welcomed - I did not find the yoga in BV Raman's 300

most important combinations... anyone recommend another source?

Assume its in Brihat Jataka.

Hare Rama Krishna

Namaste,

I haven't heard of such a yoga either. But it sounds very similar to

Shashtihayani

dasa in theme. While that dasa scheme shows a spiritual purpose, the very name

" karmajiva " suggest someone whose purpose is to work! I would like to think some

aspect of Sani/Saturn would make lot of sense.

> 1. Surya ruling the 10th from Chandra or Lagna.

Are you suggesting that this is applicable only if Janma Lagna/ Rasi is Scorpio?

> 2. Navamsa equivelent

I don't understand your question.

> 3. Benefits ? Assume Career is the recipent of this yoga?

Let us first know the components that make up this yoga. Then we can try to

interpret.

> 4. Timing olf the yoga - does the Dasa of the 10th trigger this?

That could be one case. Also look at other planets aspected/ conjoined. They can

also deliver results.

Can you quote the relevant stanza/ sutra you are referring to?

I am looking at Brihat Jataka(BriJat) CHapter 10. It outlines

VOcation ( how appropriate for chapt 10, as the right rasi/chapter

number for this!!!)

Yet I do not see the Yoga called Karamajiva.

Karmajiva came from a Parashara Software, listing out 1001 yogas.

IT was applied to a chart where the the 10th is owned by Surya,

Yet surya is not in the 10th in D1; Nor in the 10th in D9, nor 10th

from CHandra in either D1 or D9 - SO I am not clear on this

definition.

I will continue to look...

Namaste Frank,

I don't understand, why are you looking at Brihat Jataka? Does Parashara

Software

quote " Brihat Jataka " as the source for this yoga?

Could you please post the birth details?

Dear Vishnu/ Frank,

Perhaps both of you are confusing Karmajeeva Prakarana and Karmabhava

Phalaadhyaya with Karmajeeva yoga. The first refers to the way one

earns money and is from Brihat jataka whereas the second is from BPHS

and refers to effects the 10th Bhava ( though this also includes source

of earning), the last does not exist.

Chandrashekhar.
