Guest guest
Om Krishna Guru, Namaste Dhira Ji, Thanks for the note and here is what my understanding on the Mandi the Upa Graha and its meaning and usage in Birth time rectification. As you know, the Graha responsible for giving us the results of our past karma is Shani. Shani had two sons, one is Gulika and other is Mandi. Between these two sons, Gulika was appointed the job of giving us the results of our past karma, whilst Mandi disappeared and became lost. This loss in the horoscope is hence indicated by Mandi and should be used by the Nashta Jatakam Principles. If I have mis-typed and said Gulika earlier, then I stand to be corrected. This is the principle behind the usage of Mandi in the Natal Chart which will indicate, a Native will not know his/her birthtime or lose his birthchart if the Mandi is is in kendra to Navamsa lagna. Please let me know whether the birth time corrected by me is matching with the past events of your father, so that I can refine my learning. I suppose you considerthem one and the same? For beginning of Saturn's portion. A question: do you use this statement for the position of Mandi in yourprashna chart or for the actual birthchart of the person. E.g. if in anatal chart the Mandi in Navamsa is in kendra to Navamsa lagna, then theperson will not know his birthtime or lose his birthchart?
