A Fresh look on Vipareeta Rajayoga - Sarajit

Dear Sarajit,

Thanks for compiling this.

However I like to bring to your (and all) attention that some of those slokas DO NOT hold true in practice.

An one example among many: I know of several people (including myself) with the 6th lord in the 12th:

most of those spend money mostly on their own family members, RESPECT learned people and NEVER torture living beings - on the contrary!

So I guess that like with any other slukas it has to be put to the test statistically before declaring it "valid".

Kind regards

|Sri Varaha| A Fresh look on Vipareeta Rajayoga

|| Jaya Jagannath ||Dear Jyotisha,

We all know that vipareeta rajayoga brings a lot of benefit to a native by sudden rise/ sudden benefit. However, this does not come without any cost. Following paragraphs from Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, writes mostly negative things for the placement of a Dusthana lord in another Dusthana.

Experts might like to comment.

Dear Jay,

I agree with you as I

have my 3rd lord Rahu and the 8th lord Moon, both

debilitated in the 12th house. So far not spent anything on evil

deeds… J. We all know that behind the slokas

there might be some other conditions involved and we cannot take the slokas verbatim. However, it is worthy to note that most of

the results doesn’t match the expectations generated

from Vipareerta rajayoga.

How much can we expect

from these slokas is the question. J.

I am waiting for the

comments from other esteemed members.

Om Gurave Namah

Dear Members and Sarajit,

I have very recently talked about this in my article [Posted on the SJC list] I have explained how the marriage had to end in the Example chart 2 [My own chart] for the raaj yoga to come in. [8th lord placed in the 6th house with the 7th lord]. Perhaps a deeper understanding of the Raaj yoga itself is important. The end of my marriage has brought about several circumstances which over all have been very conducive to my spiritual growth and gain in knowlegde. My whole life has changed- from a rich person's house wife to an astrologer who has managed to gain the faith and affection of many people. I do not suffer any mental or physical abuse any longer and live in a house which is my own.I now live a peaceful life and fulfill my

responsibilites. I think it is Raaj Yoga. Offcourse the whole expereince of the VRY was a big struggle and made me feel like I would die any time. Its never good to have a VRY but I am sure the end of it all is for the better for that native.Perhaps "Raaj Yoga" can be understood as a more reletive term which can vary according to the individual s defination or desires.

Best Regards,

Kanupriya. Sarajit Poddar <sarajit wrote:
