The basis of my choice is my experience. Firstly in Santhanam's BPHS the

case of nisheka lagna he gives, istha should be considered from Navamsa

degrees rather than from Rasi. Brhat Jataka confirms this. Then I started

to look into dashas and found amazing accurate results.

 

Yes, the ayanamsa I use is close to Deva-datta, yet not exactly. I came to

a point of accepting either Lahiri or mine, after checking with dozens of

charts, and chose mine. Other ayanamsa I didn't find correct. But as

according to my Vimshottari dasha at the moment I go into

Moon-Moon-Jupiter I expect a lot of learning from my guru and senior

jyotishi, so if you are willing to discuss further on this topic, I will

be very happy to receive your guidance.
