JHora 7.02 Upgrade - No more

Respected Rao Ji,

 

Please accept my heartiest thanks and greetings for doing the wonderful job for furthering the cause of astrology by providing free software. I have downloaded 4.7 MB version of the software from www.vedicastrologer.org. After taking a printout of the outcome I have found an overlapping/overwriting in Kalachakra Dasa (Moon, Savya group. Paramayush = 86 years) : on page 3 of the 11 pages' output. This is for your information and doing the needful please.

 

I shall be getting a CD of the software from Respected Sanjay Ji's office in a day or so. Yesterday I had gone to his house to attend the astrology classes and shall be getting the CD in a day or so. Please find out if this problem is also there in the complete software and if so please advise.

In the last release, I inadvertantly messed up nadyamsas. Whether you set JHora to give the nadyamsa names given by CG Rajan or those given in Deva Keralam, it gives erroneous names. It gives only 3 names all the time. This was a bug introduced in 7.0.1. I fixed it. In the new version, nadyamsa names should be correct whether you use CG Rajan's names or Deva Keralam names. To choose the setting, go to "Preferences", "Related to calculations" and "Divisional chart preferences" in menu.

Yes this problem exists in the main software as well. The printouts of the KCD cannot be read. One option is to copy and paste the dasa on word document and then print that.
