Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna Dear Gurus and Members, In the recently sent AK article Guruji had given a mahurata chart of SJC Asia and talked about a Chara Karaka Replacment.Perhaps we are going through this now.Lord Shiva should be worshipped during this time , as advised by Guruji.I feel very disheartened by everything as I am sure all of you do too.I have attached a picture of the Shiva Kutumb which was sent to me by my Guru Lakshmi.Lets all meditate on this and pray that our family may come together with love once again. In the darkest of hours SJC has stood by me and I know for a fact that things will be back to normal very soon.We must keep the learning going as our Gurus might just be testing us! I have seen too many families break in my life and I know for a fact this one wont. Love and Regards to all and my best wishes for Holi.May Narsimha remove the darkness once again this Holi. Love, Kanupriya. Mail - You care about security. So do we.
Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Dear Kanu, It's good that you thought of Shiva Kutumb at this point of time. Like SJC, it is also full of love and strange contrasts...you have a tapaswi Husband riding a bull and a fiery wife astride a lion, the mighty elder son sitting on a tiny rat and the valiant second son being ferried across by the beautiful peacock (one would have thought that he would prefer a more ferocious animal and Lord Ganesh a sturdier vehicle!). Yet, they are the First Family and an outstanding example of peace and harmony...and when they are together, the wife and husband prefer the Bull as family vehicle! As Guruji advised, let us have patience and await Ugadi, symbolising new beginings, with renewed faith. In the meanwhile, any ideas about why the family of Shiva chose those particular vahanas? I request all to join this good discussion that Kanu started. God bless her. Guest guest
Dear Lakshmi, I can speak about devi Durg's vahana. It is lion. If you know, another name of Durga is `Shruti'. In earlier days - there was no printing facilities. So all the scriptures were taught verbally by the guru. students used remember the teachings and again transfer the knowledge to their students verbally only. So these scriptures are also called `Shruti'. It is implied that Devi herself is the knowledge of scriptures. When swarga rajya (our budhhi) was captured by asuras (our shad ripu), devatas (our indriyas) prayed to Devi to save the sarga rajya. that means the knowledge of scriptures only is capable of conquering our shadripus. without Devi's grace it is impossible. She rides lion - the king of animals (within us), who can control the animals. That is the best bahana for her. Others may also plz contribute best wishes jk - " lakshmi ramesh " <b_lakshmi_ramesh <varahamihira > Thursday, March 24, 2005 09:31 Re: |Sri Varaha| Chara karaka Replacment > > Om Gurave Namah > > Dear Kanu, > > It's good that you thought of Shiva Kutumb at this > point of time. Guest guest
` nmae naray[ay, om namo näräyaëäya| Dear J.K.Da, I fully agree with you.I have already written that by the Blessings of Mother Godess and praying to Lord Narasimha, the problems will be overcome. Now when we look into Annual TP chart, Surya is in his swakshetra of Simha along with Budha and Kuja which also indicates Lord Shiva, Ganapaty and Skanda, so worshipping these deities will bring about auspiciousness in SJC activities. But anyhow Surya and Kuja are in Poorva Phalguni Nakshatra ruled by Shukra who is vargothama indicates worship of Mother Godess is very important along with Lord Ganapaty as Budha is in Makha Nakshatra ruled by Ketu. I hope this helps. With Shri Hari Vaayu Naama Smarana, Ramadas Rao. "jk.dasgupta" <jk.dasgupta wrote: Dear Lakshmi,I can speak about devi Durg's vahana. It is lion. Guest guest
SARVAM GYANANANDAMAYAM AUM GURUBYO NAMAH Dear Lakshmi, Pranams. The rat signifies the marga for entering into the hole/gap provided around mooladhara. This helps in pushing forward till manipooraga is reached. Here all the gravitational/akarshana force ends. From here to reach the parvatha of anahata chakra the need to levitate arises. This levitation is helped by Skanda's Mayura. Once we reach the gufa/cave in the anahata parvata, the lion is sighted. This lion teaches fearlessness. This lion helps to pass through visudha where all the dasa maha vidyas(khanda munda yogas) are taught. The moment the ajna chakra is reached the sacred bull welcomes. Vrishaba is the symbol of " AUM " . Nandideva is the adhi guru for Sidhas. It is not possible to enter into the abode of parasiva and parasakthi without the permission of Nandi. When the Nandideva is satisfied that the fourth state known as Turya has been successfully accomplished and that sahaja laya sthithi has been attained he accords the permission to enter into the sanctum sancorum of sahasrarara. Moon gets exalted in the sign Vrishabha ruled by Venus. The conjunction/mutual aspects/3/11 placements of these two planets blesses one with vehicles. No water no prana is the message. The arghyas/offer of water/ abhishekas to the mighty beings is a meaningful act. Best wishes. Astrologically & spiritually yours, p.s.ramanarayanan. --- lakshmi ramesh <b_lakshmi_ramesh wrote: Om Gurave Namah Dear Kanu, It's good that you thought of Shiva Kutumb at this point of time. Guest guest
||Om Brihaspataye Namah|| Dear Sri Ramanarayan, Could you please explain what is sahaja samadhi? I have read this term in the book 'living with the himalayan masters' by Swami Rama where Swami Rama's guru is described as being in sahaja samadhi most of the time. regards Hari varahamihira , rama narayanan <sree88ganesha> wrote: > SARVAM GYANANANDAMAYAM > AUM GURUBYO NAMAH > > Dear Lakshmi, > > Pranams.
