Dear Jyotishas,

In the context of the current views about synthesis between the

dictum that " work done during the hora,vara etc of the natives karya

bhaava lord will give maximum results " and the dictum " Auspicious

work should not be performed on malefics weekdays " . I tried to look

up B.V Ramans' Muhurtha book. In chapter 5, Special Adverse yogas

and their neutralisation, page 31. He gives the various points Let

me quote

 

Point 3. Tuesdays in not evil after midday.

 

Point 5. No day of the week is blemished if the lord thereof is

stongly placed in election chart.

 

Point 11. Jupiter or Venus in a kendra and malefics in 3,6 or 11

will remove all the flaws arising on account of *unfavourable

weekday*, constellation, lunar day and yoga.

 

 

I would like the opinion of other Jyotishas who use Muhurtha

extensively to give their point of view on this.

Dear Sanjay P,

Dr.B.V.Raman has given in anutshell about the nullification of Doshas.But Muhurta classics give about 32 kinds of Doshas and their nullifications.

Now for a simple Muhurta,if either Guru or Shukra and Budha ( not Astangata and Vakra ) are in Lagna Kendras and a strong Chandra is in Kendra to Guru will remove all kinds of Doshas.
