Dear Jyotisa

There are a lot of mails about the MA course to be conducted by SJC. Please remember that there will be an enterance examination for this after the Delhi conference and everyone who applies will not be admitted blindly. The modus for the exam is not yet finalised and this can be extended if we are not satisfied with the implementation of the BA year -1 this year. Personally I have been haivng second thoughts about introducing MA next year as the BA itself is not yetfully streamlined.

Keeping this in view, I shall suggest that everyone should take their examnation seriously and take the papers even if the are not feeling ready for it. Exm fever is somehting we have all experienced ad my method was to play cricket and video games to get *charged*.

So best of luck again, get charged and take the exam. Please do not set a bad example by skipping the exam. Passingor failing is not going to hurt anyone except a little thing called ego and in the long run it will be good for you.

So kindly think and communicate to Dewavrata about your taking the exam or otherwise as a lot fo preparations have to be made.

With best wishes and warm regards,

Sanjay Rath

Dear Guruji,

What is the possibility to follow only one or two subject (of 1st year) this year ? For example, some one is ready to follow only Hora Sasthra and Sanskrit. If he is not ready for other subjects yet, can he complete the rest next year before go to 2nd year of BA or what can you all do for this ?

Can we do only one or two sujects ? One may be able to follow only two subjects for 3 years. Then how he is going to sit for the exam ?

Thanks

Karu

Please remember that there will be an enterance examination for this

after the Delhi conference and everyone who applies will not be

admitted blindly. The modus for the exam is not yet finalised and this

can be extended if we are not satisfied with the implementation of the

BA year -1 this year. Personally I have been haivng second thoughts

about introducing MA next year as the BA itself is not yetfully

streamlined.

Dear Kanu,

No, I couldn't find it. If any of you were able to find passed papers at SJCERC, could you kindly post the link to the list ?

Thanks

Dear Karu

Come on...don't throw away your clothes without seeing the river. There are multiple options and the Indian University system is complex but very strict. Thats why some of the best brains of the world come from this continent. The idea is not to allow escape routes and we at SJCERC are not going to encourage mediocricy.

Take all the papers, fail some of them and then we will talk of what can be done.

With best wishes and warm regards,

Sanjay Rath

Dear Guruji,

No, I was thinking about the available circumstances for youngest students of SJC-SL. The day you meet them, I am sure you will do some thing for them. I hope I have enough time to show them the path.

Thanks

Dear Karu

I am confidant that you will surely succeed. if you work with a time frame in mind then this will fall in place. They have to be given a deadline, say 2006 for some and 2007 for others to be ready for taking the examination. This will make them work.

You are already doing so much for them and if they have some gratitude at least one of them will rise to the occasion and show that there are brilliant astrologers in Sri Lanka. I was reading the Ravana Samhita last month. You cannot imagine the brilliance of the great Brahmin king. If you understand his life you will realise that he finally got Moksha as well after a life of Rajayoga!! His knowledge of mantra shastra was stupendous and I have found the mantras similar to Dattatreya Upanishad as well although there are parts which I don't like.

Perhaps one day one jyotishi from Sri Lanka will surpass that genius Ravana.
