Guest guest
... hamsasso.aham .. Dear Jyotishas, Happy Vishu. On this first sunrise after the pArthiva mesha sankranti (Vishu), I would like to announce the first release of the open source software " Mudgala Hora " . This started off as my personal playground to experiment with dasas, and try new things which were not available in the brilliant Jagannatha Hora software at the time. This software is intended for those people who have a good knowledge of computer programming, and would like to experiment with Jyotisha concepts. It is written entirely in C#, and makes heavy use of interfaces and inheritance. There is virtually no commenting at this time, though that will be remedied shortly. It requires the ~23 meg .NET framework to be installed before it will run. This sotware is not intended for those people who simply want a good end-user program...Jagannatha Hora is much better for that purpose. In addition, this software lacks one major 'feature': it does not contain the ability to display North Indian charts at this time. http://www.mudgala.com/mhora If you would be interested in contributing to this software, please feel free to contact me! Thanks, ajit
