Dear Jyotisa

From the message below you will realise what a stupendous job Lakshmi Kary has been doing since the past 3 years in making the West coast conference happen and in effect bearing the cost of my journey - the main leg of the journey @ US$ 1300 approx per year. I have never had to bother about this and she would do this quietly. Thank you again Lakshmi. This year Lakshmi covers the domestic tickets and has already sent a cheque inspite of being in the red in her credit card. You are very brave Lakshmi. It gives me the zeal to out-perform myself and this is what Krishna Kripa is all about.

After donations we have collected so far US$ 450 towards the cost of the ticket and still need another US$ 850 to cover the cost of the main ticket. This amount has come from donations from Dr Brendan Feeley and Sanjay Prabhakaran (thanks to you two again). Narasimha has offered to pickup the cost of the ticket but I cannot allow that as the Maynard worshop is normally a *donation* based event and the amount collected is just about enough to square up the costs.

Can I request 8-10 donors to kindly contribute some amount towards the costs of the ticket so that the conferences are as successfulthis year as ever before. I hope that with this constant input in 5-10 years time we shall have a database of lectures which will help many of you and the future generations to learn this subject in a great depth.

If you feel you can donate, please visit http://srath.com/services/donate.htm and thank you again.

--

I have received volunteer letters from 8-10 people for the Narayana Dasa Book. Narayan Iyer has been made the project head for this and the web address is http://srath.com/project He will be assigning the tasks asap. Thanks again for the overwhelming support. My heart melts to see the enthuciasm of all of you.

As promised the Narayana Dasa book will be made freely downloadable from 30 May 2005.

With best wishes and warm regards,

Sanjay Rath

Dear Friends,

At Sanjay's request I am sending these details and messages to you. They include both the international and national flight schedules. It is almost the same as the earlier one, with only a minor change as he will be spending some time with Pearl in Ireland on the way back. Pearl is very keen that Sanjay spend at least 2 weeks with her. Initially it was not possible as the tickets were already done, however he managed to change the tickets and the return dates were altered slightly, enabling a short visit to Galway. He asked me to convey to all of you that the aim has been to minimise travel for maximum benefit :).

Sanjay has paid for his international tickets and will book the domestic tickets as well from India once Lakshmi and the rest of you okay it. So please work out the financial implications/reimbursement etc. directly with him. Also, if the dates are not ok, please work it out with him, although he has worked them out individually with most of you.

Zoran is taking care of the London-Belgrade-London sector.

Pearl is taking care of the London-Galway-London sector.

The visas for Ireland and Serbia have to be worked out.

International

The cost of Sanjay's ticket is as follows:

Delhi - London - Boston - London - Delhi: $ 1250 (at Rs. 43.65 on the earlier date of purchase. In reality, he is now paying Rs. 5, 000 more as the tickets were changed to accommodate Ireland. But he has not included this in the cost)

London - Belgrade - London: Euro 248 (for Zoran)

London - Galway-London: Pounds 270 (for Pearl. Sanjay wanted to know whether this could be cheaper, but Pearl says to go ahead)

This leg of the tickets cost $ 664. All these are non-stop flights and booked through cheaptickets.com . Of course, he has not actually booked them as yet, but is waiting for confirmation at your end, in case, cheaper alternatives are available. The same goes for the Boston sector given below.
