Guest guest
||brihaspatimvarenyam|| Dear Utpal, For the past few days, I have been discussing with Pandita Sanjaya Rath about the mechanism behind the 6 level dasa system and Sanjay asked me to take up a case study to study the line of thinking that I proposed to him. I thought I would take up your puzzle as a test-hotbed for verifying the logic. Never mind the old saying that fools rush in where angels fear to tread… & #61514;. The logic that I had proposed to analyse the 6 level dasa mechanism was based on the connection of the dasa cycle or sub-cycle to the sariras following the philosophy that for any event to take place, the seed first manifests in the karana sarira (causal body) according to the karmashayas (karmic residues), sprouts in the sukshma sarira (subtle body) and finally manifests in the sthula sarira (gross or physical body). The proposition is as follows: Maha, antara, pratyantara – to be analyzed in rasi chart – sthula sarira Sukshma antara – to be analyzed in navamsa (bhagya) Prana antara, Deha antara – to be analyzed in shastyamsa (past karmas) You had given your brothers birth details as 24.07.1977, 3.55 AM (recorded), Mumbai (72e50, 19n06) and asked the question ‘What happened to your brother at around 3.30 pm on 24.01.2003 at Idar, Gujarat?’ Additional information provided by you: Your birth details, Date was one day before your brothers marriage, performance of your sons upanayanam and sisters marriage on that date, taking of bridegroom in a procession to kuladevata temple (Shiva) on that date. At the time of the event, the Vimsottari dasa (Moon) was Ju/Ve/Ke/Sa/Ra/Ra. The hora lord at the time of the event was Me (kala = Ju). According to the methodology proposed above, let us look at Ra in shastyamsa. It is in the 8th house of Sg with respect to D-60 lagna along with UL, A5 & A10 and HL. To decide if the event is good or bad, look at the shastyamsa it occupies which turns out to be ‘Garala’ or kroora (poison or venom of a snake). This indicates that the event was sudden or unexpected (8th house), some activity (Ra = 10th co-lord & A10) related to money (HL) and spouse (UL) with children or subordinates (A5). Now look at Ra with respect to pranapada lagna in shastyamsa; here Ra is in the 3rd from PP and is the 5th co-lord from PP showing that the native may have been talking (3rd house of communication) to children or subordinates (5th house). Moving on to look at Sa in navamsa, we find that Sa is the 3rd lord in 4th house along with navamsa lagna co-lord Ke and AL. Malefics in AL damage the image and the happiness of the native may have been shaken due to the communication activity at the time of the event. Since the sukshma sarira also relates to the impact of the mind (desires) on the native, we peep into the nakshatramsa (D-27) to find out what impulses are occurring at that time. Here Sa is in 8th house of Li as the dispositor is in 3rd house along with Ra and Mo forming a shakti yoga which may have induced a very sudden movement related to speech or hands (probably the native shouted!)…once again this is connected to UL (spouse) and money (HL). Analyzing Ju/Ve/Ke with respect to the tripod principle, we find that Ju is in 12th to Sun and is the 6th & 9th lord wrt Sun, placed in lagna. Ve is the subhapati placed in 8th from Mo along with Ma and A4. Ke is the 6th co-lord placed in 10th house of Pi. Without delving into further principles, I would like to summarize the event as follows: The happiness of the native was impacted due to a sudden quarrel with relatives of the spouse because of issues with money. An accident cannot be ruled out either and could have been someone throwing a dangerous object (chemical); however the native was saved due to Guru in lagna and the presence of mind of father or such elderly persons. Addendum: I have given this exercise for the sake of understanding. If I am wrong, I accept my mistakes and am ever ready to learn. If I am correct, credit goes to Lord Narayana (om namo narayanaaya). I present this example for the learned scholars in the forum and pray that I may be given wise counsel. Guest guest
||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Hari, Namaskar Nice philosophy of the dasas. But, if the Maha and Antara are more subtle in form, whilst the Prana and Deha are more gross, then why aren't you looking at the Prana and Deha from the Rasi chart, where the actual physical actions are taking place? Whilst looking at the maha and antara in the D60 or higher divisions where the more subtle events are taking place... I base this argument on the understanding of the 5 kosas of consciousness and the five levels attributed to the vargas.
