Guest guest
om namo bhagavate venkatesaaya Dear Narasimha, Namaste I dont know which email correspondence Sanjay is referring to in his recent discussion with you on the issue of Lahiri ayanamsa but anyway I am copying selected portions of my correspondence with Visti to you as given below. Since Sanjay posted this on the forum, I am copying this to vedic astrology & gajapati for the benefit of all the members. -- Best regards, Hari---------- Forwarded message ---------- ||om namo bhagavate venkatesaaya|| Dear Visti, You asked me for a synopsis of the discussions that I had with ParamaGuru Sanjay on 6 level dasa system and here they are. The philosophy is essentially the same as what I mooted on the Varahamihira/Gajapati forums except with a twist; the introduction of a concept called 'level of grossification'. The following table below shows the condensed form of the 6 levels of the dasa system. The level of grossification follows from the Panchatmika tatvas and the terminology is: 1 = akasa, 2 = vayu, 3 = agni, 4 = jala & 5 = prithvi Dasa Period Principal Reference Kosa Divisional Chart Harmonic Level of grossification MahaDasa Antara Sun Anandamaya D49 – D60 1 Antara Pratyantara Moon Vijnanamaya D37 – D48 1 + 2 Pratyantara Sukshma Lagna Manomaya D25 – D36 1 + 2 + 3 Sukshma Prana Sun Pranamaya D13 – D24 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 Prana Deha Moon Annamaya D1 – D12 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 Lagna Hope the table is clear. If you have any doubts, please ask. Furthermore the thick line in the table divides the dasa scheme into TWO levels, which basically demarcate the repeating of the tripod of analysis (SUN/MOON/LAGNA). I have not understood clearly what these two levels relate to but one possibility could be at the level of sarira wherein it is clearly understood that the sukshma antara relates to the sukshma sarira. Essentially the state of mana on the dasa system. For example, Sanjay checks the shastyamsa often to get an indication of how the mahadasa would be. In my case, I traveled from Bombay to Delhi so Sanjay checked the deha as per digchakra to find out whether it matched and rectified accordingly. For the trip from Mumbai to Delhi, the deha was Mercury (North) while for the return trip, the deha was Saturn (West). Best regards and Jaya Jagannatha Hari
