Guest guest
Namaste friends, The coming Saturday is going to be "Sani Trayodasi" most of the world. Sani Trayodasi is an auspicious day for praying to Saturn. Especially, being a "Krishna Sani Trayodasi", it is even more powerful. This is the first Sani Trayodasi after Saturn's entry into Cancer!! This is a very good occasion to pray to Saturn. At my house in South Grafton (near Boston, USA), I will be reading Sani's Ashtottara Sata Nama Stotram (compilation of 108 names) 108 times and reading Sani Gayatri 1,080 times on that morning. I will also be reading Sani kavacham, Sani mantram (not Gayatri, but the one in Ushnik) and Sani stotram recited by Dasaratha. I will be starting around 8 am and first doing my regular Savitri Gayatri japam. After that, Sani pooja will start at around 8:20 am. It will probably end around noon. If you want to come and join me in this pooja, you are most welcome! If you call me or my wife Padmaja at 508-839-1218 on Friday night or Saturday morning, we can give you directions to my house. Wherever you live, you may consider praying to Saturn on that day. Saturn lives in all of us as the spirit of hard work, patience and discipline, which are very important qualities. We all need the blessings of Saturn to be useful to the society and serve our purpose in this life. You can find Sani Gayatri recorded in my voice at http://www.vedicastrologer.org/mantras/mantras.htm If I get a chance to record Sani's 108 names during the pooja, I will upload it after the pooja. I am back to being away from the lists now... :-) May Jupiter's light shine on us,Narasimha-------------------------------Free Jyotish lessons (MP3): http://vedicastro.home.comcast.netFree Jyotish software (Windows): http://www.VedicAstrologer.org SJC website: http://www.SriJagannath.org-------------------------------
