Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishana, Dear Visti, I am enjoying your brilliant work, "Jyotish Fundamentals", and I found it cannot be categorize as "Fundamentals ". How ever I have number of questions, and let me put one now. In the chart 68 in page 95-97, you have recommended the Manthra for Sri Buvaneshvari. I understood, this was depend on the strongest graha looking at the 2nd from UC, other than the AK. Since AK has another goal, we are looking for strongest other than AK . You have further mentioned, worship AK (SRi Kamala) is very painful and difficult. 1. Why it is painful and difficult ? You have mentioned that Sri Buvaneshvari should be advice accompanied related to AK. 2 Why it should accompany with AK ? Is it a general rule, when the planet indicating Mother is conjoined with AK ? Hope you will clear my doubts. Karu
Guest guest
||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Karu, Namaskar The Chandra Upapada is not the sole resource for analyzing the appropriate Mahavidya for a person. The Mahavidya is preferably chosen based on those planets which is 1. Easy for the native to identify themselves with. 2. able to purify the native of significant past karmas. In the example i have chosen the second line of thinking as the major yoga in the chart is a kala-amrita yoga which is dominating the chart. This yoga is broken by Chandra and Shukra, where Shukra is also under a curse. The obvious choice would have been Shukra, had it not been atmakaraka. Worship of the Mahavidya of the AK is said to be difficult because this involves not just the purification of the native on a more mundane level, such as relationships, work, etc, but on much more personal level, where the natives cause of birth itself is put into the open and questioned. At this juncture a good alternative instead of a mahavidya for Shukra, would be the Atma-linga itself, i.e. the Jyotirlinga of the atmakaraka, which you may have noticed that i prescribe eagerly on the srijagannth-gurukul.
