Guest guest
Dear everyone, I have a question regarding some interesting mantras found in Narasimhas book ( the online compilation of lectures ) I only feel safe when I know the exact and correct pronunciation of a given mantra - however there are as far as I can see no Itrans for the below two mantras - maybe someone can help me. 1) Om shreem Dhleem medhadakshinamurthaye namah will remove confusion from the mind 2) Om shleem dhleem jyotirbraahmaaya namah helps derivation of knowledge If anyone has more info on these two mantras or even a better one for developing jyotish mati pragyan i would be delighted to listen. Guest guest
||Hare Rama Krsna|| Dear Anders, Namaskar The second mantra is known as the brahmajyoti mantra and is a parampara mantra. However i think the word is ‘shreem’ and not ‘shleem’, based on what i was told when given the mantra. Thus making the mantra; “Om Shreem Dhleem Jyotirbrahmaaya Namah”. This is a dasakshari mantra thus strengthening the persons sight and karma yoga (tenth house). To start, you will need to know the chandah of the mantra. If i knew, i would tell you. Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna ||Dear Visti-ji, Anders-ji, Pranam/Namaskar. I was told ShLeem with an "L" when given the mantra. Surya-Gayatri Mantra should be chanted before the Mantra 2 and a lumious spot of light should be imagined while chanting Mantra 2 for best results. I am not given the Manra 1, so I can't help with that.I would be happy to be corrected.Best regards,Sourav============================================== varahamihira , "Visti Larsen" <visti@s...> wrote:>> ||Hare Rama Krsna||> > Dear Anders, Namaskar> > The second mantra is known as the brahmajyoti mantra and is a parampara> mantra. Guest guest
Shri Brahmadaru Smarami Dear Visti, If I remember correctly, the first time I was given the Jyotirbrahma mantra, you and I were together. This was in Vineland, in Freedom's house, although Freedom was not around at that time. It was raining quite heavily and the skies were grey outside. The mantra given at that time was Om Shleem Dhleem Jyotirbramhaya Namah. This is a parampara mantra from Sri Achyuta Dasa and is for the purpose of attaining brhamagyana, for opening our third eye and attaining that superior knowledge which will ignite the spark of Brhamajyoti within us. We use Shleem as that is the way it has been handed down in the parampara, although shreem is not technically wrong.
