Guest guest
Kim MacMullin and her husband George Wright of Metcalfe, Ontario, Canada haven't had to pay a hydro bill for nearly ten years. When they built their log homestead some 500 feet from the nearest power lines, Ontario Hydro told them it would cost $6,000 dollars for a hookup. The couple did some research, and determined that they could set up their own solar/wind electric generation system for $5,000 – an immediate $1,000 saving in capital expenditure, and with no monthly power bills thereafter. http://www.helpmefree.com/alternative-electrical-power/
