Dear Nair and Friends,

Jaimini Maharishi 's " Updesha Sutra " :

Sutra 1.3..18 means:

The darapada (pada of 7H ) IN A QUADRANT OR TRINE ( from Lagna Pada ) bring the

blessings of Sri Devi

(i.e. prosperity & fortune ).

Notes:

1. Pada of any house can falls only in 3H,4H,5, 9H,10H and 11H from the

concerned house. The Pada of any house will never fall

in 12H,1ST,2ND,6TH, 7TH AND 8TH houses from the concerned house.

2. The 7H represents spouse. The karka is Venus, which owns 2H and 7H of the

natural zodiac and represents Sri Devi or Laxmi vide stanza 1.2.74.( Venus in

12H shows devotion for Goddess Laxshmi).Therefore, dara pada is in angular or

trine houses from LAGNA PADA ,the prosperity is indicated.

3. In such a configuration , 2H from Lagna pada is in benefic influence ,

Srimant yoga results..( refer Sutra 1.3.15 and 1.3.16)

Sutra 1.3.19.

If Darapada is in other houses ( from Lagnappada) , the native is unfortunate

Sutra 1.3.20

The Darapada is in a angular or trine house from Lagnapada indicates marital

harmony and physical compatibility.

Sutra 1.3.21

The Dara pada is in the 6H, 8H, or 12h from LAGNA PADA makes the couple

inimically disposed to each other.

Notes:

The darapada rules finances (through business etc) and physical compatibility

between the couple (i.e. native and spouse)

(a) if the darapada in a quadrant or trine from lagna pada , it augurs

prosperity and physical felicity with spouse

(b) if the darapada is in the sixth, eighth or twelfth from Arudha lagna, not

only there is poverty (around the time of marriage),

but the couple are not compatible.

© If the darapada is in the third or eleventh from the arudha lagna, finances

will be poor but there will be physical harmony in marriage.

dear group and learned guru jan

 

 

I was reading jaimini sutra adhyaya 1 pada 3 sutra 18th and 19th

 

which says aruda pada is falls in kendra or trikona will make a nativ very rich

( from lagna or karakamsa lagna ( the rasi in navamsa were atmakaraka placed

,take in rasi chart --that lagna is karakamsa lagna )

 

but the stanza 19th says anye dustane means if falls in dustana like 6/8/12

it may be bad

 

the doubt is i never find the arudha lagna is falling in dustana from lagna ,so

may b from karakamsa lagna ---so i wanted to discuss in grps

 

If possible with examples ,also i find some ppl is taking karakamasa is navamsa

and som same rasi in navamsa in rasi chart as karakamsa lagna .

 

I hope every one will particpate in this exercise
