Dear Sunil ji and Friends,

Sutra 1.1.33

The signs and houses are indicated in the Sutra by the pheumonic

value(Katapayadi varga system)of the alphabets.

Sutra 1.1.34

This DOES NOT APPLY TO THE PLANETS.-THIS MEANS THAT PLANETS ARE REFEREED BY

THEIR NAMES.

 

BHAVA PADA ( ARUDHA)

Kindly refer sutra's 1.1.30,31 and 32

Also refer BPHS CH -29-BHAVA PADAS

SLOKA'S 1 to5:

The Pada of the ascendant will correspond to the sign arrived at the counting so

many signs from the ascendant lord as

he is away from the ascendant .Similarly Padas for other houses be calculated

through their lords.

Lagna Pada is the main pada or Pada Ladna.

Exceptions to the above rule

a. Pada of any bhava can not fall in its own house or seventh from it

b.If lord of any bhava falls in any angular bhava from the bhava in question;

The pada of such bhava will fall:

1. LORD in 1st Bhava or in 7th bhava , pada will fall in 10H from bhava

2. Lord in 4H OR in 10H , Pada will fall in 4H from the concerned house.

If the above rule , which is according to both Sutra's and BPHS, THE pada of any

house including ascendant can only fall

in 3H,4H,5H,9H,10H, and 11H. PADA WILL NEVER fall in 12h,1st ,2nd ,6th 7th and

alSo in 8th house from the concerned house.

Chapter 1 Quarter 3 of Sutra's is assuming Lagna Pada as ascendant i.e

Lagnapada is the reference point FOR all sutar's in this Quarter

Sutra 1.3.18 starts from the word LABHAPADE-LABHE=43/12=7. THUS this word means

Pada of 7H-I.E. darapada.

Thus sutra 1.3.18 means, that Darapada is in angular or trinal houses from

Lagnapada will generate Srimant yoga.

dear Leela ji and geol saab ,

 

Goel saab Now we just started the discussions in our grp ,where we expect ur

participation tp full extent with corrections and suggestions .

 

But when i follow the adhyaya which is published by Suryanarayana rao its

clearely said AL should not fall in dustana frm Lagna ,there this dara pada

statemenet is not there .

 

Lagna pade kendre ,trikone va sreemantaha ,(lagna pada falls in kendra and

trikona can make nativ rich ( extemely ) and next stanza is anyatha duste (

otherwise is bad )

 

so here where is darapada statement is coming ??????????

 

leelaji every one has expressed their happiness we r discussing jaimini_sutras

and looking forward for it .
