Already there were Astrological enquiries exists as to why 'mass human

suffering and sometimes large scale loss of life' are caused due earth

quacks,volcanic eruptions,tsunami, forest fire, ship wreckage sinking, rail

accidents, Air crash, flaring up of epidemic etc.,

‘Naaradha Muni’ had advocated avoidance of TWENTY ONE MUKURTHAKAALA DOSHA for

marriage celebrations for e.g., utpaadha yoga and appearance of ‘DHUMA KETU’/

Comet to human eyes. It may be HIS rational when one part of Earth undergo

sufferings the other parts should not celebrate joyously or may be some other

reasons best known to HIM.

One of the Tamil adage says “When ‘Dhooma Ketu’ / Comet appear ,seen in the

Northern Sky, it inflect”peeda” / sufferings to Human beings to a large extant

and if Comet / Dhooma Ketu appear to be seen in the Southern Sky animals suffer

to a large extant.And short time visible comets during nights promotes all round

improvements to human life and long time visible Comets cause all round

deficiency.

visibility for e.g., one web site on Comets had said “C/2006 Q1 McNaught (name

of a Comet) 11th magnitude and steady Observable all night”.
