can any body tell how to decide , the horoscope is of

be ascertained and as such we can not categorically assert exact gender from a

given horoscope .

Dear Rajpal,

Jaimini Updesa sutram gives clues to identify gender from chart. The

Vighatika lord and Vighatika lagna can be used.

The birth time has to be accurately known within few seconds (every 24

seconds is one vighatika lord and lagna). If the Vighatika lord is

Male/Female graha then gender could be male/female, If neuter then stronger

influence should be noted. Exalted vighatika lord can give males while

debilitated can give females. In case of parivartana or doubts, The gender

of the Sign where Vighatika lord is present also determines the gender.

dear rajpal,

alternatevely you can try---add up lagna rashi number

+ravi rashi number+rahu rashi number+jupiter rashi

number---divide the total by 3---remainder 0 and

1--male,,,2----female. this may come true about 60

percent true.you may hv to try this from lagna chart

and if possible from bhavchalit charts, then ch how

far this method is useful.
