Guest guest
We all know that there are 3 cycles of Dharma, arth, kaama and moksha in vedic astrology. 1st cycle: 1st house:- dharma(fire) 2nd house:- Arth (bhoomi) 3rd house:- Kaama(vayu) 4th house:- Moksha(jal) 2nd cycle: 5th house:- Dharma(fire) 6th house:- Arth (bhoomi) 7th house:- Kaama(vayu) 8th house:- moksha(jal) 3rd cycle: 9th house:- Dharma(fire) 10th house:- arth(Bhoomi) 11th house:- kaama(vayu) 12th house:- Moksha(jal) But how many of us understand the real meaning of these facts?? For example we know that:- 1)12th house is for bed pleasures. 2)4th house is for sukh(generally house, mother etc) 3)8th house is for death, prolonged sickness, hidden things etc. 4)4th,8th,12th are the moksha houses but are we really understanding the deep meaning of these facts. or the relations between these facts??? Astrology in nothing but reality of our life. Sun rises in the 1st house(early morning 6 am)..10th house(12pm- midday) is next landmark in the sun's path followed by 7th(6 pm- evening) and 4th(12 am-midnight) houses repectively. With this course of sun our life pattern is fixed as per the qualities of the respective bhavas. We get up in the morning(1st), go to our work place(10th), come back to our home in the evening(7th) to the family(mainly spouse) and finally go to sleep(4th). On a different plane altogether:- lagan is our identity(since its a risen part-head), 4th house would be rising next(hence our- chest, heart). In other words,We can obtain moksha only when we surrender our own identity(1st house) and let our soul to obtain god. Surrendring means to just bow our head(1st) in front of the god or bring it to the level of chest(4th).If this surrendering is happenning in a true sense(getting totally detached from ourselves or from our ego) then we could obtain moksha. So when we talk of moksha houses we mean:- Detaching from ourselves to obtain god. In the 4th house- when we sleep in the midnight( Our soul leaves our body and whereever it goes ,we start dreaming of that place..though our body, brain and heart are always in a state of working and never sleeps.....therefore we sleep in terms of soul and body detachment)....or simply detachment take place ...hence called a moksha house. In the 8th house ..when we encounter long sickness and death ,we immediately shed our ego's or our " I " , hence here also detachment occurs. This happens because we tend to realize that nothing is in our hand and therefore self realization take place.Fear of Death makes us realize that actually we our souls which changes body just like clothes.Prolonged diseases makes us feel that this body is non- eternal. In the 12th house when everything including our existence is lost,Only then ultimate truth of soul and god comes to our mind. Again when everything of materialistic origin is gone ,then we start detaching ourselves from " I " , hence also called moksha house. The essence of moksha is best realized in the 12th house followed by 8th and 4th house respectively. This is how the cycle goes but many astrologers makes us comprehend, 12th is for bed pleasure and sleep(which is actually 4th house materialistically). All the materialistic happiness is the outcome of 4th house only.If we observe closely 12th house is 6th to 7th house. If we assume 12th house for bed pleasures and 7th for sex,it would mean that bed pleasure is an obstruction to the sex and obviously this is not the case. Also people say that since 7th house is 8th to 12th house therefore 12th house is for bed pleasures. what they misinterpret is that ,if we assume 12th house for bed pleasures then we are saying that sex is an hidden element of bed pleasures but actually sex is not an hidden part of bed pleasure on the contrary its a most dominant and visible part of the bed pleasures. The sleep texts mentions for 12th house has nothing to do with sleep we know but, is actually " YOG NIDRA " -Spritualistically which takes us on the path of detachment.Yog Nidra is a supreme kind of meditation through which we actually get detached from everything materialistic around us. Now coming to the 4th house(actually for bed pleasures), which is 10th from 7th house means that actual derived karm of sex is pleasure or happiness. This is a reason why sexual happiness is regarded as the ultimate happiness in the material world(Material here means ,its a never ending desire). But we mixes all the concepts and make a mockery of it. 4th house also represents mother's womb where we are totally detached from ourselves- hence 4th house is also for mother apart from moksha. 7th house represents sex, but the happiness derived from sex has to be seen from 4th house which is also for materialistic sleep in the midnight(12:00am)- hence 4th house is for sleep with materialistic sexual pleasures and spritually all the three houses (4th,8th,12th house)are for Yog nidra. SInce sexual pleasures are not derived in open and it needs a house, threrefore 4th is also for house apart from mother and moksha. Moving futher, if we look at closely 5th house which is 2nd from 4th and represents children and romance is the real strength of the sexual happiness. If there is no romance or lack of romance between the couple, happiness cannot be felt even after carrying out sex. Also if the couple is not begetting a child, the sexual happiness would be affected. Since 5th is 11th to 7th house, it shows gains from sex or child is the gain from sex but since 5th is 2nd to 4th it shows child gives strength to the sexual happiness. similarly sustainence of the pregnency(9 months)is seen from 4th house(Mother's womb) but since 5th is the strength of 4th house, Final delivery is shown by 5th house.
