What is the difference between faith and belief?

Good Evening

 

From long time few questions are floating in mind,

 

1) I want to know the difference between faith and belief. Which one

is powerful?

 

I came across many people who say astrology is only 50% accurate,

but go to their family astrologers for all suggestions. Does it mean

that, they blindly believe astrology without having faith?

 

2) My mom always says that our fate is predetermined (education, life

partners, education, childern...etc) and she also says " Work hard and

leave the result on God " ...Sometimes the two statements sound

contradicting to me

 

3) Do Astrologers know what's going to happen to them next

 

4) Why do famous astrologers fail in predictions?

 

Just curious to know above….
