Sirs,

 

I am an admirer of the prowess and knowledge of Mr. Gopal Goel for his eloquence

in presenting the most complicated part in Vedic astrology in simplest words to

reach masses interested in this field.

The general question is 'what is that these Planets are to perform on an

individual born on this earth, and how these are brought in a cycle of events

with the inter-relationship, interpreted in a sequence'.  In other words, what

credence astrology has to make one believe that the 'events' are predestined and

could be traced?  It is difficult in ages before and ages to come that these are

predictable and could be tabulated for inter-effects, unless they understand

what is Astrology, or the base of this great science. Now, explaining to

convince some in answering this question, most of us relay on the Ancient

documents and the sayings of the sages and rules and deductions to communicate

the essence of Hindu vedic Astrology. We have none to claim 'rational'.

From Chaldean, to Mongolians, to Aryans, and Egyptians, similar or modified

decorated expressions were given to lead to confusions and many to list

Astrology deductions to magic exhibitions, when couple of deductions become true

in course of time.  However, Astrology has not progressed to convince many,

beyond it has lived for ages and its glory to be seen in dim light, like 'yoga',

'meditation, 'Ayurveda' and 'Vedic Mathematics'.  All admire its essence and

none realize the magnificent inlaid astonishing facts and results.  However, it

is not made clear of the origin to begin to believe the 'results'

 

I have to answer to this question, while I am hesitant to bring these before

august learned exponents.

Dear Friends,

Some Savants of Astrology are of the view that if beneficial dasa periods are

operating , one may not much bury

about bad transits(say seven and half transit period of Saturn).

I MAY HUMBLY MENTION THAT THIS TYPE OF THINKING NEEDS ELABORATION :

In the Sidereal system of Astrology, which was developed since Vedic periods ,

Predictions are based

on three tyre system:

1. Yogas -There is long list of yogas - In fact yogas indicate the fate with

which a native is born.This is obtained

with help of complete synthesis of nativity .

2 Dasa periods indicate the flow of fate on a time scale of the age of the

native. This is called flow of PRARABDHA.

3. Transit indicates the ability of the native to put the fruits of Fate to

proper or improper use and outcome is called destiny.

      A results of good dasa is petrified by adverse transit and visa vars.
