More intelligent than ancient sages?

Dear Revati ji,

My compliments to you if you think that I am STILL  young at the age of 72

years.

This is another matter that my studies in astrology go back to nearly 36 years

and  I am teaching astrology since 1989.

I strictly follow the teachings of Parasara.Jamini , Mantreswar and Saravali..

BEING AN STUDENT OF SCIENCE AND AN ENGINEER , I adopt the intent of their

teaching ,

and not only by dictionary meaning. Whatever is written by me also have the

blessing of my Guruji and

I found it true when applied to actual nativities,

I am also not interested to join issues with you .

From my side further discussion on this matter is closed for good with you.

May God grant you humility and wisdom.

More intelligent than ancient sages?

 

Dear Gopal,

 

obviously some very young astrologers think they are more intelligent

than Parashara, Mantreswara or Saravali, directly contradicting clear

teachings in BPHS and Phaala Deepika. Poor to see this and therefore I

refuse discussing with too self-convinced astrologers (even leading to

some arrogance and ignorance). This is the danger of  youth and

psychological non-maturity - being too self-convinced, not able to get a

step behind the own person and reflect on oneself. A very important

ability of self-awareness is the capability of critizing oneself and

correct oneself (I did it several times if I have seen that other people

were right and I was wrong). And this is the reason why an astrologer

should not advise people before getting into Jupiter Naisargika stage

which is 32yrs. Jupiterian qualities are highly needed for good advice

and full comprehension, not Martian qualities.

 

I continue to follow BPHS and Phaala Deepika and Saravali mainly - if

other ancient scriptures or modern astrologers contradict them I reflect

on it but in my experience given three scriptures are superior to all

other teachings. Following their teachings is the key to success.

 

Hope you do not get under the same flag as I did,

and waiting further for your precious and valuable comments and articles.

I follow them since weeks and learnt a lot of them.
