Dear Revati ji,

It is a sin if one tries to block or hide  knowledge from others.

We all owe debt to Rishis , which is unburdened by passing and spreading

knowledge to other fellow beings.

One can learn if he has some basic ability. The knowledge is put to the good of

humanity, the person is required to have

some self discipline.

Astrology - for everyone?

Dear Mr. Goel, Dear Mr. Pathi,

please allow me a special word to you:

Did you ever think of the possibility that it may be wrong to offer

astrological knowledge to *all* people?

What I want to say is simply: It is really correct to enable *everyone*

to use astrology?

Knowledge is Power. Particularly vedic-astrological knowledge.

What applies to pychology (or any science), applies to astrology as

well: There is higher possibility to *abuse* this precious knowledge for

own egoistic means, or even to manipulate other people. And I do not

like the use of astrology *only* for Artha matters like 'How can I gain

more money'. This is only *one* life goal - one of four goals, and only

a prerequisite for the other three ones.

I am Westerner, German, and probably I have misunderstood ancient

scriptures like Bhagavad-Gita (or the Bible, New Testament) saying that

Moksha in the very end is the most important matter in life... But I

know very well, that most people are in the middle of their own

incarnation cycle (40% of all human beings are still 'young' souls), and

I am an old soul, having lived many incarnations and experiences.

I think BPHS is right in stating that the person of the astrologer needs

very special character traits. I am far away from being perfect but I

follow clear ethical standards, as you both do (I am able to read this

between the lines). But what is with persons who do not have much moral

or ethics?

This is a question which now is in my mind.

Perhaps you could comment on this kindly.

Yours Respectfully,

Revati
