Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya

Dear Narasimhaji:

Thank you for the excellent responses to this problem.

Could you explain what is jaagrut shakti?

Can you see if someone has jaagrut shakti in their astrology chart?

Does anyone know how it works with the energy channels of the body,

i.e. Sushumna, Ida, Pingala channels or nadis?

Thanks very much again.

Sincerely,

Gayatri Francisco

needed. Mantras work either because an individual with jaagrut shakti

quickly taps the shakti of the mantra or because the devotion slowly

taps the shakti of the mantra. The first approach is rare these days.

For the second approach, there is no difference between a priest and a

layman! In fact, most priests are unlikely to have the same focus of

mind on the goal and the same level of compassion for the suffering

person as the relatives and close people. If a person without jaagrut

shakti has to awaken a mantra for a specific person's benefit, there

has to be a deep compassion for the suffering of the person. I

honestly feel that laymen can achieve that better than priests, if

they manage to sit down for hours. Things were different in the old

days, when priests did tremendous penance and were a walking bundle of

energy. In the changed situation of this age, my advice is always for

people to do remedies themselves.
