Dear Ravi,

Please follow the following web-link, for a brief introduction of the

Chakras you asked.

http://astroiq.com/DigitalJyotish/screen_shots/screens_chakras_all.aspx

I'm putting the same stuff from there. By the way, among them,

SarvatroBhadra Chakra (SBC) and Sudarshana Chakra (SDC) are generally

used and in vogue. Some practitioners also cast Tripataki Chakra along

with Solar Return Chart (Varshphala). Whereas Kurma and Sanghat

Chakras are used in mundane astrology.

1) SarvatoBhadra Chakra

This chakra is a chart that shows all round well being and all kinds

of auspicious and inauspicious results. It is famous in India for the

enabling the Jyotishi to give strikingly accurate predictions. This

chakra is unique in the way it connects together Signs, Nakshatras,

Tithis, Weekday and Sounds (often the first sound in the client's

name). Vedha of transiting planets are cast: Vertically, Horizontally

and Diagonally.

2) Kota Chakra

This chakra is useful for deciding on the outcome of illness,

disputes, wars and troubles from opponents. The first nakshatra is the

Birth Nakshatra. Transiting planets are placed in there respective

nakshatras.

Results are:

A. Natural malefics in innermost square are harmful.

B. Benefics innermost are favourable.

C. Exiting malefics are good, benefics adverse.

D. Lord of the Moon sign (Kotesha) protects against disease or

troubles, when in the center.

E. The planet representing the initial sound of the natives name is

preferable when in periphery. "

3) Surya Kanal Chakra

This Chakra is used in matters of dispute, strife, battle, illness and

travel. 28 nakshatras (with Abhijit) are used here. The location of

birth-nakshatra in relation to transiting Sun nakshatra is being

considered. Results Are:

A. Lower end of the three tridents:Worries death and obstacles

B. One of the horns: Illness and apprehensions

C. On the tridents: Possible death.

D. Elsewhere: Gains and victory.

4) Chandra Kanal Chakra

This Chakra is used to assess gains and losses, comforts and victory

or subjugation on a given day. 28 nakshatras (with Abhijit) are used

here. The location of birth-nakshatra in relation to the transiting

Moon nakshatra being is being considered. If birth Moon (blue) is:

A. Any of the tridents: Highly inauspicious.

B. Outside the womb: Average results.

C. Inside the womb: Auspicious results.

5) Sanghat Rashi Chakra

In the older days this chart was used by Kings and kingdoms to see the

impending wars, peace treaties etc. This chakra shows the 12 signs of

the zodiac. The planets are placed in there respective signs as per

the chart. In our software the Birth Planets are shown as blue and the

transiting ones as red. Beneific or malefic Vedha is mostly considered

on the Lagna or the Moon.

6) Sanghat Nakshatra Chakra

This chakra uses 27 Nakshatra signs excluding Abhijit. Nine dots are

placed in a triangle and starting from Ashwini the Nakshatras are

placed. The planets are placed on these nakshatras according to there

position in the prashna chart. Vedha on the prashna Lagna Nakshatra

and prashna Moon Nakshatra is seen from malefic and benefic planets.

7) Panch Shalaka Chakra

For Muhurta (Election) of marriage and all ceremonies related to

marriage vedha is seen on Pancha Salaka Chakra. If a planet is placed

in a particular nakshatra it will cause vedha to the nakshatra falling

on other side of the straight line.

8) Sapta Shalaka Chakra

This chakra is in many ways like the Sarvatobhadra Chakra, although it

is specifically used for other things. 28 nakshatras (with Abhijit)

are used here. The vedha is caused by the opposite Nakshatra. If a

malefic planet moves on a nakshatra and it causes a vedha on opposite

Nakshatra, such a Nakshatra should be avoided for marriage and all

other auspicious events. "

9) Kurma Chakra

Kurma (tortoise) Chakra is used to find the places and directions of

malefic or benefic events with in a country. Here is an example how

Kurma Chakra is used for the various states in India:

Central: U.P. M.P., Rajasthan, Harayana.

E: Bihar, Orissa, Bengal, Assam etc.

S-E: Tripura, Orissa, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh.

S: Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh.

S-W: Goa, Maharasthra, Gujrat

W: Maharashtra, Gujrat, Punjab, Rajasthan.

N-W: Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttaranchal Pradesh

N: Kashmir, (Nepal), Uttaranchal Pradesh.

N-E: Sikkim, (Bhutan), Assam, Arunachal.

10) Tripataki Chakra

This Chakra has it original use in Tajik astrology for further

analysis on the annual chart (Varshpravesh). See it also in the Tajik

screen. Here it is simply applied to whatever chart is open.

11) Sudarshana Chakra

This classical Parashari Chakra combines the house orientations from

Lagna, Moon and Sun. The innermost circle is seen from the Lagna

(Ascendant)The middle is seen from the Chandra Lagna (Moon)The outmost

circle is seen from the Surya Lagna (Sun).

12) Sarva Chancha Chakra

1. The innermost circle indicates the houses.

2. Next circle contains the signs, syncronized with the houses as per

the natal chart.

3. The next one contains planetary positions of the natal chart.

4. This circle has the Sarvasthakavarga points.

5. The next eight cicles contain the Prastarchakra of Lagna, Saturn,

Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, Moon and Sun.

6. The next circle has the Bhinnashtakavarga of individual planets and

the Lagna.

7. The last circle gives the kakshya lords in proper sequence.
