Nice NARASIMHADEV MANTRA (and His reply)

Sri Prahlada Maharaj said to Lord Narasimha

 

OM namo bhagavate tubhyam purushaya mahatmane /

haraye-adbhuta-simhaya brahmane paramatmane //

 

" Oh Supreme Lord, full with 6 opulences, Oh Supreme Person! Oh Supreme Soul,

killer of all miseries! Oh God in wonderful Form of Man-Lion! I offer my

respectful obeisances unto You! "

 

To which Sri Bhagavan, in the amazing form of Narasimha,  replied to Prahlada:

 

Sri Bhagavan-uvaca...

Naikantino me mayi jatvihashisa Ashasate-mutra cha ye bhavadvidhah /

Tathapi manvantarametadatra daityeshvaranamanubhunskshva bhogan //

 

Sri Bhagavan spoke: " My dear Prahlada, a devotee like you never desires any kind

of material opulences, either in this life or in the next. Nonetheless, I order

you to enjoy the pleasures of the asuras in this material world, acting as their

King until the end of the life of Manu. "
