Combining Numerology with Astrology.

I recently learnt of an approach that combines numerology and astrology.

I know of it broad outline, some of its reasoning but not the full

origins.

 

In numerology, normally the name selected is matched to the

birth/destiny number. As number 1 to 9 are ruled by a planet, it was

argued that the name number should be matched to the strong planets in

a natal chart, especially one who significators are important.

 

So even if a person's birth/destiny number is 1 (ruled by the Sun) but

if the Sun is debilitated, the person should choose a name number that

is not number 1 based but of another planet that is stronger.

 

Does anyone know of the origins/references (books, etc) of such approach?
