My friend is a life long ardent devotee of Sri Krishna and Sri Jagannatha. I have not known anyone who has faced as many problems in their relatively short life as she has. I have great reverence for the Pandits and Gurujis on these email lists and hence I am seeking your help for her. Birth Details: Dec 6, 1972 Detroit, US 4:26 PM My friend has been abused (both emotionally and physicially) by her close relatives (including parents) as well her as husband whom she divorced on Dec 6, 2007. Her ex husband physically assaulted her sister and faces criminal charges. She has had numerous health problems ever since she was a child. Her own parents have created great obstacles for her during her studies,marriage and any other tasks. She has 3 siblings, out of which one has ceased all contact with her suddenly - for no reason. She had to raise her 2 younger siblings all by herself since her parents were not available - physically and emotionally. Her 2 siblings had (and still have) many crises in their life and suffer from emotional problems. My friend lost a lot of money on her divorce and has major custody of her 2 kids. On 9/24/08 her house was broken into and she lost close to 10-12 K dollars worth of jewelery and cash. her children are always suffering from some ailments (excema, allergies, etc). I can not possibly put down all the crises in her life but I have seen that this girl just not get a break -- she always has some major issues. I entered all of these details so that it may help with some analysis. To put a positive note on this -- her faith in Sri Krishna is unmovable. Her devotion to him has not ceased in the last bit (except for once - it did get shaky for a year when she was 22). In spite of all the problems her parents created for her, she managed to study very well and get a masters degree in engineering. She has always been well employed.
