Dear Kursija ji,

From spiritual aspect ,Sun (Atma) and Jupiter (Jeeva) and Ketu (which

creates the awareness in jeeva that basically it is Atman) are basically

Benefice

planets. When jeeva descend on material planes , the behaviour of panets  is

judged in different manner.

Upa-pada is the pada of 12H ,as such Ketu does not harm upa-pada,the

Karka of Upa-pada is Jupiter.The hints are available in pada and upa-pada

chapter of BPHS AND Sutra's

Respected Gopal Goel,

Thanks for the chart which I happen to analyse today. I fully agree with you

that the Parashar, Arsh, Jaimini, Lal Kitab and all other systems of

astrology, Pamistry and Numerology etc are for the benefit of humanity and

intermixed. All are complementary to each other.

But sorry to write that Jupiter is retrograde, vargottam and Dara-Karak posited

in lagna and aspected by Ketu, Moon, retrograde Saturn Jupiter is posited in

11th from Aruda lagna. So family is blessed with normal happy marital life.

BPHS in Ch 3 Sloka 7 says;

'Details about Nakshatras may be learnt from the general

literature (which is already available in abundance ), while I narrate

to you about the effects of planets and signs.'

Jaimni Upadesa Sutra 1.1.35 says:

'Horadyah Siddhah'

" First of all master the Hora shastra. "

Thus all astrological principles are inter related to each other, the savants

for their own

convenience divide the knowledge after the name of one or other Rishi.

Concept of Bhava pada ,rashi aspect and dasas  etc are introduced both in

sutra and BPHS in detail .

Sutra clearly says , first master hora shastra, as such there is no point saying

that Sutra

do not recognise Combustion of planets.

BPHS CH 32'Planetary Karakatwas' deals in Charkarka replacement in detail.

I use it . Do not give the credit to SJC WHICH IS NOT DUE TO THEM,They

are not inventor of  this concept, if they are making use of it , this is a

different issue.

Kindly study BPHS and get the benefit of this beautiful concept.

Read good analysis of chart. In jaimini system combustion is not

included or talked about. Secondly, Charkaraka replacement theory is

not proven or indicated in classical literature. This is origination

of SJC school.
