A Question about Dr B V Raman, regarding His Ashtakavarga book

Hi To all,

 

I have been studying the works of Dr B V Raman, and especially of late

his book on Ashtakavarga, Now I was reading in his book about

predicting the death of the father, and according to his works there is

a simple forlua to do. I followed the examples in his book, but when it

came to the result of the sum, it didn't match the remainer he sugested.

 

I don't know if there is anyone here who knows what i'm trying to say,

but I am having difficulty working out the sum in the exaples and

coming up with the correct remainer. I think i have an idea of it, but

there is one or two sums that don't even work out to the example given.

 

Can anyone help me please?
