Guest guest
Namaste friends, The US markets are taking a free fall. As I said in a mail last week, world is going through a transformation and we are in a state of flux. From a long-term perspective, this flux will continue for a few more years. From the medium term perspective, February-March 2009 will be good for markets. But, from a very short-term perspective, some confidence may return to markets after Oct 15. Mercury is the planet of business and trading. He is exalted in Virgo right now, but in retrogression. This retrogression is bad. It is very bad this time in particular, because of the " retrogression commencement chart " . Mercury's retrogression started at 3:10:35 am (EDT) on 2008 Sept 24. If you make a chart at Washington, DC, you will see that 21 deg 16 min 29 sec of Cancer rises then at Washingron DC. Lagna is in inauspicious Asresha star and Ketu afflicts lagna closely. More importantly, the 22nd degree of Cancer is Mrityu Bhaga for lagna. So lagna is in the death-inflicting degree of the sign. For all these reasons, this particular retrogression of Mercury is quite bad. On October 15, Mercury will become direct. After that, I expect that some level of clarity and confidence in the markets is possible. Right now, there is utter confusion, pessimism and fear. People have no idea where the bottom is going to be. After October 15, there some level of clarity is possible.
