The reasons are as under: 1 Venus is angular lord with trine lord Jupiter, this removes many blemishes of Venus 2. Venus though placed in badha house and functional   malefic , but placed in friendly sign.(Venus should not occupy Scorpio Nanamsa,    or interplanetary war with Jupiter or in bad syanadi Avasthas) 3. If Venus is alone in 11H and aspected by Jupiter , Venus dasa will not   yield good results. Bhavartha Ratnakar gives 22 yogs for Aries Lagna ,which are very informative.
