Lagna Lord in 8th - no doubt lagna lord will become weak, however, he will improve the 8th house being the ascendant lord will do good to the 8th house, reduce the malefic effect, say improve the life span & health 2. 8th Lord in 12th - since 8th lord in bad house, he will loose all his powers in a planetary war with 12th lord (depends on the individual strengths) and as result both the house will loose their capacity to do harm. It can be even VRY too i have seen two cases where in the people are in 70s age and no serious health problems, however, they are not confident and mild characters in their life not a very big achievers in life and had some in herited properties. Gurujis, i am a learner and doing some practice, kindly confirm my understanding.
