Disturbance caused by Sani and Rahu - Rafal

Siksa sisya must have faith in Siksa Teacher, otherwise relation is disturbed - this disturbance comes from Sani and Rahu. Charaka Samhita nicely mentions qualification of Sisya.

 

The shArIrasthAna section of the caraka Sa.nhitA Ch1.32-34 on Perceptive Faculty:

 

yA yadindra yamAshritya jantorbuddhiH pravartate|

yati sA tena nirdesha.n manasA ca manobhavA || 32

 

bhedAt kAryendrayArthAnA.n bahvyo vai buddhayaH smR^itAH|

Depending upon contact/association with various sense faculties, living beings shape their perceptiveness accordingly.

Mental perception like anxiety, sorrow is based on contact of the perceptual faculty with the mental faculty. Perceptual faculties are of several types depending on the variations is action and objects of sense organ as one and the same sound which differs as it is produced out of friction in the finger and thumb, guitar and nail. Hence, the perceptual faculty differs according to its production from out of the mutual contacts with the Soul, the sense organs and objects of sense organs.

 

The above clearly states that it is more than Rahu and Sani and the Moon. It also involves the AK, the indriyas – lagna and the 10th house and dispositors/signs/lords of houses and the karakas that represent these perceptive senses.
