Dear Dr. Misra,

One or two thoughts:

In D-10, there are several Karakas which must be seen. Surya in MKS will show scarcity of resources in work. Budh similarly placed would show trouble in working skills or the quality of work. Similarly, other Karakas of the 10th House can be judged.

These Karakas must also be seen from the relevant house. For example, Budh badly placed by sign placement in the 12th House would be MKS from the 6th and again skill levels in the work, either based in performance, or the nature of the work itself, would be low.

This leads to a host of MKS placements in the D-10 chart. This was discussed in Achyuta Gurukulam some time back where I gave illustrations based on the TP Chakra for last year.

Dear Sharat,

 

You should see primary karaka. Mercury in forth (mks to 10H) and 12H is

very bad for job. I think Srila Prabhupada had Mercury in 12H in D10,

so it can show some big troubles - not neccesarily complete denial.

Dear Anurag,

Interesting thoughts, if you could point out the reference of your previous discussion, I shall look it up.

Few points to ponder on:

Budha being the primary karaka, in MKS either from lagna or from 6H will be adverse for work or working skills. Surya gives work but in MKS in Rasi(12h) it can give scarcity of resources. If it is conjoint with a debilitated Moon, its effect will decrease, like it has happened in my chart.(13/03/57;2059:08,Kanpur). Su and Mo are also 7th from 6H of service, so will they act as maraka of 6H, in their AD? I expect they will. In my chart 6L and 7L are also conjoint, so I may hover between service and independent work although 7L Budha is exalted in D10.

Interestingly, Surya also being 9L, meaning my superior or boss, being in MKS, will have problems when I am in service? It conjoins Moon, which is also 8L of retirement, so it can try and influence service termination!

Lets try and look at D10 in my chart and see if this works with Chaturaseeti sama dasa( as 10 L is in 10H) and ND of D10

1.Private Consultant Job, in partnership: Apr1993: Me/Su/Ma, Sa is the disp of Mars and has aspect on 6H; ND shows Li/Aq/Ca , shows similar environment. Mars is 5L, shows work change and initiative.

My employer had a heart attack and was ill during most of this period of my work, in fact when he got better, we parted ways.

2. This terminated in Apr1994: Chaturaseeti sama dasa shows Me/Su/Mo, Moon is aspecting 5H and 57 is also shubhpati. But ND shows what I actually did. Li/Pi/Ge , shows Venus giving effect of exalted Mercury lord of 7H(own work), with Pi( Ju in 7H) and Ge(7H), alll promote independent Consultant work, which is what I then began. Although I didnt have any boss but the owner of the main place of my work became ill during Mo AD , Moon is AMK

3.Pvt Consultant job abroad: This happened suddenly in May 2004, CSD of Ju/Su/Ve, terminated in March 2005: Ju/Mo/Me, Me is 7L and maraka for 6H. ND shows this began in Ta/ViGe, confirming that that this was private sector job. Su in D10 is in MKS, my immediate boss was transferred within 3 months of my starting and the person who took over also lasted only another 6-7 months. The previous boss in fact returned when I was leaving this position.

4. Govt Service abroad, began in May2005, in CSD of Ju/Mo/Mars, Mars shows inititive I took for this change, it is also 5L of transformation. ND of D10 shows Ta/Ta/Me, that this is service as a consultant, Me being 7L with Ju in 7H. My bosses(two) colluded to terminate my service but nil else happened to them, however the the whole organisation went in big financial deficit,is yet to recover and is still going downhill. Moon AD was going on and Moon is also AMK.

5.New job, smilar Govt Service, Apr 2006. CSD showed Ju/Mo/Me; ND of D10 shows Sag/Vi/Le.

This time my superiors are fine, the organisation has become independent and is doing well for the first time in many years!

Will this continue? What is protecting the 'superiors' this time?

I am due for a job transformation in July-August 2007 making it more permanent..will it happen? In TPC of 2007, Venus the hora lord is in lagna; Ve is 6L and lagnesh, in rasi in the natal chart.

So one can see how Su-Mo in D10 are influencing my career and the bosses I have had.

Will appreciate comments and thoughts.

I think your analysis below is quite astute.

Just a few thoughts based on recent personal experiences.

1. If the Moola Dasha fructifying the primary Shrapa ends, everything, including TP charts begin to give crisper and more identifiable results. My Rahu Moola Dasha ended on June 12: I actually feel different.

2.On the 10th of June, I was called for outstation work and this kept extending till the 30th! See the TP chart for this year, the TAD of the Hora Lord Shukra, all giving this impetus and new work.

3. Specifically see the Budh AD in the TAD scheme in TP D-10, as Maraka to work but in Gemini. In the AD, what happened was that 'actual' work seen from the 6th House was minimal: this is the usual grinding, hard work seen from the 6th House, after the completion of which one may move to the work shown by the 10th House, where one 'shines'. As Budh is in Mithun, there was nothing untoward or unpleasant in 'actual' work not happening. It was just not very stressful and yet there was quality contribution made.

4. This can be seen from the strong 7th House of 'independent' legal consultancy rather than killing, grinding daily work shown by the 6th House. Even the TP for last year had a stronger 7th House in the D-10 but the Shrapa was active natally and that makes all the difference.

5. The Dasha of the Hora Lord has led to the 'new beginning'.

Say for career moves, if the concerned graha is under a curse in the natal chart, it would respond more favouarbly when the curse period ends.
