century AD., after Varah Mihira, the author ruled the zone called

Vyaghrapada(now in Madhya Pradesh ). He was not only an adept protector of his

country men but an ace astrologer, having established close ties with works of

many traditional and venerable exponents, viz Parasara, Satya,

Garga,Badarayana, Varaha Mihira etc. Following his study of their literature

with devotion and a deep grasp of the subject he produced the illustrious

SARAVALI.

 

Presented now is an English

Translation in two volumes which is the first ever attempt in the press. There

is a total of 55chapters Containing on all important aspect of human life.
