I had the following questions. 1. All sukla tithis are supposed to be auspicious. Does the particular tithi say sashti or saptami have any further significance ? Are certain sukla tithis better compared to others ? 2. Suppose the graha titihi is a sukla tithi but the graha is debilitated or retrograde. What is the meaning then ? 3. Does the auspiciousness of the graha apply to the karakatva and the houses lorded ? Anything else that can be gathered from this. Thanks SAI
Guest guest
hraum namah adityaya Dear Saimohan, Nice job! Where is Your Ketu from NavLag and Karakamsa? 1. All sukla tithis are supposed to be auspicious. Does the particular tithi say sashti or saptami have any further significance ? Are certain sukla tithis better compared to others ? [rafal] Sukla is auspicious for bhoga marga. Yes, Shasti has more flow (enmity - COVA and Ripus). Do the same as in Muhurta but remember that Tithi is Jala-Tattwa and knowledge You gain will be connected to that area. 2. Suppose the graha titihi is a sukla tithi but the graha is debilitated or retrograde. What is the meaning then ? [rafal] This is to make Your view more holistic. The same excercise is in Jataka Tattwa, where Vaidyanath Diksita gives slokas related to Ashtakavarga. He gave good results to Jupiter in Dusthana but with high numbers of Bindos. Avastha is about world (Rasi), Tithi is about desire/reincarnation like Tithi-Jyotirlinga (Su/Mo). 3. Does the auspiciousness of the graha apply to the karakatva and the houses lorded ? Anything else that can be gathered from this. [rafal] Yes, it refers to whole Yoga. Hope it helps.
