Guest guest
Respected Sarajit ji Thanks for a great article. I tried to apply this in some more charts. Prof BV Raman. works very nicely However in the case of Dhiru Bhai ambani it did not work. DhiruBhai ambani Natal Chart December 28, 1932 Time: 6:57:00 Time Zone: 5:30:00 (East of GMT) Place: 88 E 50' 00 " , 22 N 28' 00 " chorvad, India His Brahma is Ma who is also the AK and the 8th Lord from there is Ju so he becomes Maheshwara placed in Vi. We would have expected him to die in trines to Vi (Ta, Vi and cp) however he died in Le dasa. (Jhora somehow is calculating Sa as brahma and Su as maheshwara, I dont know how?) Now if we go to Jaimini's other rules the lord of 3rd is Ve, 6th is Sa, 8th is Ju and 12th is Moon. signs aspected by each are Cp,Ta, Cn, Le, Ar, Sg, Pi, Ge, Vi so virtually the whole of the Zodiac. So how to decide which one? Regards Tarun
Guest guest
|| Jaya Jagannath || Dear Tarun, You indeed brought up a tricky case. Thanks for that. For a planet to be Brahma, it should be lord of dusthanas and be placed in visible odd sign. Now on prima facie, it looks like Mars and Ketu fights for that position. However with a careful look, we see that Moon is a also in Visible half (since Lagna degree is more than Moon’s ) and odd sign . Hence Moon also joins them as a contender. Among the two signs, Le and Sg, latter is aspected by Jupiter and hence stronger. Thus Brahma is Moon and the dasa begins from Sg instead of Le. The progress of the dasa is SG 11 CP 1 AQ 10 PI 4 AR 7 TA 8 GE 2 CN 6 LE 5 VI 1 LI 11 SC 0 SG 1 CP 11 He died in CP dasa. So the dictum did work in this case too. Thanks again for this case. I got a chance to highlight the point of visible half. Actually, even though we take 7th to 12th as visible half, it is just a rough estimate. To be accurate, we need to look at the cusp of Lagna and the 7th house.
