settings for BAV in JH

what are teh settings used for Binna Astaka Varga calculations in JH?

 

i see there are two options to check:

 

1. reverse the ashtakavarga meaning

2. consolidate houses for references

 

each one gives a totally different value.

 

On what conditions/situations we use? I understand JH gives some

defintions right below the check box, but what is recommended per SJC ?
