has very correctly advised you Shiva mantra. The primary curse in your chart is

Brahma shapa, that is curse of Jupiter. Jupiter is the UL lord, and one of the malefics

involved in the curse is 7th lord Mangal. Jupiter is also the tithi

lord, influencing relationships. Hence, this curse will surely affect your 7th

house matters in all aspects. The fact that the UL is in the 8th

house and Shukra is AK, does not help.

 

So

Jupiter needs to be rescued and propitiated. One can use either guru, Shiva or

Vishnu mantras for Jupiter depending on the chart indications. The fact that

Sun is your ishta devata planet also indicates Shiva.

Dear all ,

I have been advised by Vistiji to worship Shiva (in the form of

Tryambaka) with Jyotirlinga mantra to find a spouse. How does this fit

in with the things we are talking about ?
